We worked with Viktar and his team to complete several upgrades to our home, installing flooring, resurfacing countertops, painting cabinets and walls, and upgrading features that required expert knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. I hired ViDash for two projects: 1) to repair existing damage on a granite countertop and 2) to expand the drywall around the very large glass entrance to my terrace so that a new frame could be installed. After the installation of the new frame, the surrounding drywall needed to be repaired, patched and painted. Both projects were quite involved and required a high level of knowledge, attention to detail and expertise. The end result was perfection! I contacted ViDash because my shower (4’x4’), designed with blue subway tiles and small, dark floor tiles, needed to be cleaned and regrouted. It had been renovated in 2001, without any updates since and the grout was badly stained. Viktar responded immediately by setting up an in-person consultation. During his inspection, he noticed two additional issues – both the threshold saddle and area surrounding the tub needed grouting. He gave us a clear description of his plan for addressing the issue and the time it would take. He also included an accurate estimate of the costs, which was very reasonable, especially compared to the other quote received from a tile professional we had consulted. In the end, Viktar completed the task promptly and with top-notch professionalism. Our shower tiles look perfect now. Payment is very important for both the client and the construction company. Everyone wants to protect themselves. The first payment is expected to be 20 -25% of the contract amount. He goes to the issuance of various certificates and the first supply of material. Further, payments can be divided into several types. Progress payments – 35 -50 -75 -98% of the work done. The project foreman begins each day completing a specific checklist to ensure that everything is running smoothly and on time. ViDash knows that transparent pricing is a key aspect of customer satisfaction. For that reason, we offer fixed-price bids that we guarantee not to exceed, so long as no further change orders have been approved by the client. Payment schedules are agreed upon with the client and based on predetermined dates or project milestones, such as the completion of framing or flooring. This helps streamline the payment process for the client while providing advance notice for expected payments. Fixed-price bids do not vary based on actual costs. This is often the preferred bid structure for many contractors as well. While fixed-cost bids require more work upfront to determine cost estimates, they typically result in less paperwork and cost accounting for clients throughout the entire construction process.
Construction and renovation projects are often complex and dictated by on-site factors specific to a particular location. To help the client understand the various factors to be considered, ViDash conducts an initial meeting with the client at the site where the project will be completed.
During this initial meeting, ViDash will evaluate the overall condition of the existing structure as well as any significant updates or alterations that might be needed to begin working. This includes a thorough inspection of ceiling walls, pipes, the floor, etc. to determine the total time needed to complete the project, what subcontractors might be needed, a comprehensive list of materials that will be used, and so on.
